432 Park Avenue will be the tallest residential building in the Western Hemisphere when it’s complete. When a building is gunning for a superlative like that, it’s worth checking in on every once in a while all the time. Field Condition, a site that publishes lovely-looking photographs of buildings in progress, posted a construction update. Basically, it’s passed the 1,000-foot mark, with topping out at 1,397 feet set for fall, and it is tall. Like see-it-from-everywhere, bigger-than-the-Chrysler-Building tall.
